Soo... the update is taking longer than expected with real life getting busier, but I am working on it slowly but surely. IDK when it'll be out, but I promise it'll be worth the wait. Hope ya'll stick around with me till then. Oh and I unpublished the post-story arc. I didn't like how the last bit turned out, so I'll rewrite it after the update.

Soo... I just finished working on the first arc of the update for Nest & Wings. Yeah, I know, still the first arc. But I promise it'll be worth it as there are lots of subtle changes and added content that really elevate the story and especially some of the characters; which was previously a weak point in my book. It's turning out to be much bigger than I initially anticipated to the point where I could even call it a rewrite than a revamp. If anyone is thinking of re-reading the book, I urge you to wait till the update. So uhh... that's it. Just wanted to update ya'll that I'm still alive and in fact working on the book. See ya!

@rodney00yrz I'm looking forward to the next chapter from your book as well after that teaser.

@PasanAnthony Oh, I will, no doubt about that. But, in the meantime, I'll just focus on making updates of my own, lol

Also
Have you caught up with the manga?
I feel like there are important bits about Himiko...
That you actually kinda covered in your book

UltraLily

@PasanAnthony only for a few bits though

Nice
            But like
I the most recent bits are like...
I feel like i wanna cry
            And yell
            And be happy
The recent chapter was kinda what My hero academia truly is
Living a life of evil when one tragedy striked
Of living a life of good despite living in tragedy

Ya know how you said to wait until you re-write the book?...
          Woops!
Its too good to stop now
Ill prolly have to read it twice

UltraLily

@PasanAnthony I have been reading for about 1 hour
While simultaneously trying to get a Emilia hairstyle
            Absolute faliure
I need... NEED to atleast grab a shower or hairbands or and a hair iron and a diadem
            But its 1 am
And it wont be even worth it

How the hell can everyone in AoT keep a hairstyle ...
Its impossible for me to keep a hairstyle in this world
            Like
            Its simply impossible...
            Gah

Quick question, what's your preference on pacing? Do you prefer long, fleshed out narratives or brief, to-the-point kina stories?

brothernieR

@PasanAnthony Oh of course not, I guess I kinda just gave out numbers. Personally, I would like fleshed out narratives as it help keep attention to a story, I think it really depends on the situation, like if there isn't much going on then I'm fine with 1.5k-2.5k words chapters instead a big one but if let say a big event if happening I much rather read the whole thing in one sitting. Hopefully I make any sense.

@noamhamelech So more like dynamic pacing where important parts are fleshed out while minor (potentially boring) parts are brushed over?
