Hey all! Sorry for the complete radio silence for the past year! Tbh I was thinking of just ditching this acc without another word since I'm not terribly popular on here, but then I figured that would unfair to the few people that did show me support so here I am to give you an update.
Basically, Ms. Fernsby's Cottage in its current draft is dead. I'm not abandoning the whole story because I do like it but I think the state of it that's uploaded here on Wattpad is quite messy. Originally it was supposed to be a very simple story, kids are taken into the care of Ms. Fernsby and then find out she's not all that she seems and that's the end of it. Then I realized I could do more than that, then I realized I could do MUCH more so I kept piling on ideas to my story structure that wasn't intended in the beginning, and I think if you read the first chapters and then the later chapters it becomes a little clear that it was not very well organized. I would write stuff into chapters, publish them, and then the next chapter try to retcon those ideas because I've changed my mind. It just became very messy to the point where I don't know how to write the next chapter. So I'm just tearing the whole thing down.
As far as writing goeos my plan now is just to finish writing the screenplay I'm writing and then see how I feel after that. I do plan to revisit Ms. Fernsby's Cottage one day and try to create something coherend with it. That could be in the near future or in the far future, and it's future may or may not be here on Wattpad.
As for the half-written draft currently uploaded, I'll keep it up for a little while but I will eventually make it privated.
