The new TK issue is out! HOLLOW EARTH. It's actually a sequel to the last one, FLAT EARTH, so why not read both? As the sun rises over the Wild Lands, some life-forms stir awake while others hunker down to sleep after a night of hunting and foraging. This is a world rich in flora and fauna. And yet it is not natural.
          
          Each of the animals roaming these forests and grasslands has been enhanced through technology. That leopard can change the pattern  of its spots. That giraffe has reinforced legs. That elephant has opposable thumbs and a trunk that blasts Nicki Minaj's latest tunes like an old boombox.
          
          This is their ecosystem.

I've finally made good on my promise to submit to @Wuckster 's 99 STORIES ABOUT CHICKENS anthology. It's an anthology where all 99* stories are about chickens.
          
          My submission is a Tugger short story called CLUCK CLUCK BANG, set when Tugger was 15 and blasting corn at the gun range. A rogue chicken is disturbing all the middle-aged men. Tugger is here to ensure that continues to happen, as nature intended.

6 years ago we created an anthology dedicated to what we call the M'Verse. Since then, perhaps as a byproduct of our meddling here at the Ooorah Mothership, the multiverse has taken off in pop culture.
          
          On January 22nd, 2023, the Ooorah Mothership set the ultradrive into maximum overdrive and took off for the M'Verse once more. There are still five non-mandatory rules that weave together the very fabric of the M'Verse, tethering each tale to a tangible tenet: the Toad King, Ooorah's Specials, COVID, cats riding around on dogs' heads, and unicorns. You may see one or more of these concepts in each story, or you may see none at all. You do get 10 stellar and diverse stories, a wrap-around tale* (written by yours truly), an amazing article+, and more~!

          5 rules weave these tales together...
          
          1. There are several religions, as many as you like, but the biggest of them all is the Church of the Almighty Toad King. Followers of this religion are known as Toadies.
          
          2. There exists a certain product called Ooorah's Specials. Whether they are cigarettes or something else, legal or illegal, is entirely up to you.
          
          3. COVID was a worlds-wide phenomenon that existed in every corner of the M'Verse. Whether it referred to a pandemic or something else—like a form of Beatlemania or something—is your call.
          
          4. Cats ride around on dogs' heads and control them by their ears. Don't fight it. It's just reality.
          
          5. Unicorns were once living, breathing animals, hunted to extinction for their beautiful horns. What those horns were capable of—if anything—is up to you.

Almost another year of TEVUN-KRUS finished, which means the annual Best Of issue has just released! As has been the case since TK#101: The New Frontier, you can find a bit of "flash" (or is it "sudden") fiction at the very beginning of the issue written by myself. Each piece is considered a "Scene from the Mothership."
