So uh, happy 1 year anniversary of my last update I guess.
I was really hoping to have the next update ready by tonight but that doesn't look like it's going to be happening unfortunately. I'd promise an update soon, but last time I did that I said it would be out by January and that didn't end up happening.
I'm really, truly sorry, I know how frustrating it can be to wait for an update to come, and I feel bad about putting you guys through that, I just haven't really been able to get out of this burnout. I phrased it well in my last announcement, and those words still stand. Writing and reading is just something that has been really difficult for me this past year, and I don't know if that's from the added stress from the pandemic or something else, but this burnout has just kind of taken my passion away (which majorly sucks).
Like I said before, I promise I'm trying. I don't know when it will be done, but I can tell you that one of the reasons it's taking so long is because I'm also in the process of slightly rewriting one of the earlier chapters because I've decided to go in a different direction with something. That change hasn't been made yet, but I'll let you guys know which chapter is different, don't worry.
I'm sorry for not getting to any messages or comments or anything that you guys may have been sending me. I didn't mean to worry anyone if I did, I just don't have the energy to reply to anything right now. Burnout really, really sucks, but like I said I'm trying to get out of it.
The love, patience, and support that you all have been showing me truly means the world to me, and you all are what motivates me to keep writing, which means more than you know.
Thank you for your patience, thank you for supporting me, thank you for absolutely everything. I'm trying my best, and hopefully (no promises because that clearly doesn't work well) I will get the next update out soon.
