Hello everyone, my name is Ruiti.
I'm from NZ, at the far end of the world, or so it seems sometimes. 
I'm half Maori, NZ's indigenous culture and unsurprisingly, half English from our colonial overlords. And I love both cultures for their rich histories and mythologies.
Writing is only one of my passions. Art, music, travel and being a mum  complete the picture.
At the moment I'm finishing a degree in scriptwriting at Te Auaha, a Polytech based in Wellington's CBD.
I've written children's books, and graphic novels. Novels are under construction. I've written short stories, and short films. 
At the moment I'm writing a TV series set in NZ, all dystopian and Mad Max-esk. Love that genre.
