Here is a sneak peek of the next chapter of Devious. 
          
          "I'm starting to second guess myself." You confess quietly, the closer you get to his place. 
          
          "Oh calm down, miss prissy." Karma teased. "Are you worried about getting caught? May I remind you who you're engaged to?"
          
          "I'm not worried about getting caught." You said. "It's just that I've never done anything like this before."
          
          "Then you're missing out. Trust me, by the end, you'll be wanting more."
          
          It was too soon to say that for sure, considering you were perfectly fine if Karma turned the car around right now. But, there was also this small part of you that was excited to go through with this. 
          
          You looked through the passenger window to see if you were getting any closer to the address. It's been a while since you last walked past these houses, but they did look vaguely familiar to you. 
          
          "It should be around the corner." You inform him. 
          
          "Yeah? Okay, let's park here."
          
          Karma parked in front of some random house. The lights were off, so the residents were either asleep or not home. Either way, you hoped no one would notice the strange car being parked there. 
          
          Karma was eager to leave first, but you stayed in the car for an extra second. 
          
          You peeked through all the windows first making sure there was no one around before getting out

HEYHEYHEYYYYYY!!!
          
          it has been nearly 2 months since the last devious update and I'm starting to think you will cancel it...
          I'm not ordering you or commanding you to update the book but I am just checking since there aren't any spoilers about it and I'm DYING to read devious, cause of different time zones I stay up till 6 am or 8 am just so I don't miss the update  (I am in Egypt so that's why)
          Take your time,no need to rush,but just confirm that there is another chapter,I won't be able to use the phone as much these upcoming days since it's December and my finals are on the 18th of January and I can't mess this year up.

          When Miho felt as though she was far away enough, she slowed down her pace before stopping completely. She half turns around, staring straight ahead in the direction she just came from. 
          
          Being away from you, gave her room to breathe while processing everything and organizing her thoughts.
          
          For one thing, she felt a bit guilty for running off like that once she saw you. But she was worried you would find out that she's here with Gakushu. They're not on a date, no, Ren is also with them, but speaking as someone who likes the perfectionist, she can see how much it would upset you if you catch him and Miho together, especially after the rejection. 
          
          But, also...
          
          That... bakery boy... Has a crush on you? 
          
          Miho tilted her head to the side and furrowed her brows. 
          
          No, wait. She's probably jumping to conclusions. 
          
          Just because you were the only girl there, that doesn't automatically mean that you're the girl the white-haired boy likes. Miho would have dropped it at that, but then she remembered something that the bakery boy said.
          
          "You see... she recently was rejected by a guy she liked, so I doubt she would look at me like that."
          
          That can't just be a coincidence, can it?
          
          Miho couldn't just drop it. She had to find out more.
          
          She turned around, heading to where she last saw Gakushu but made a mental note to talk to bakery boy again the next time she saw him.
