Hello again! So I recently started an Instagram page for my artwork and since I've drawn Rox quite a few times for fun, I was wondering if it would be ok with you if I posted some fan art of him (I'll make sure to say it's from your book and tag it, etc). I just wanted to get your permission first.

Hey! just wanted to say that I really like The Search for Knowledge and as a person who likes all forms of fantasy novels, this was a great read! (Rox is my absolute most favorite character.) I DID, however, have a few questions; one being why you decided to give the dark elves pointy ears and elves regular ears? And two; how did you come up with the fantasy world, its magic system, creatures, etc? What was your inspiration for the world? Anyway, I think your writing is great and I look forward to reading the end of the search for knowledge as well as any sequels that you may write!

@The_twilight_writer No problem! Feel free to ask more if you ever have any^^

@PridefulSilence Thanks so much for answering my questions; the pointy elf ear thing was something that I've been wondering about for awhile, lol. And I thought that your book DOES have a DnD vibe to it, which is cool. Thanks again for the answers!

            Hiya there, Twilight^^
I'm over the moon to hear that you enjoy my novel and I'd be more than happy to answer your questions!

1: When I was coming up with racial traits I noticed that Elves already had a lot of things going for them to differentiate them from other races, namely how they ALWAYS have at least one unusual hair/eye color in my novel. Coupled with the fact that I planned to have a Rox use elves as his cover race, so it just kinda worked out that way.

2: Mmm that's a lot of different answers. But the broad answer is a wide variety of video games, especially Divinity original sin: 2 and the Fantasy novel series "Eragon".

As for how I came up with the system, it's very similar to a power system I came up with to help run a role play system 4 years ago or so. It was sinilar to a tabletop game like Dnd or Besm.

I love your style of writing, I would love any tips you have to offer for my own novel ( if you are okay with that, and sorry for the shameless promotion of my story). I would also like to praise you for your dialogue and story, it reminds me of my dungeons and dragons sessions with the characters different statuses and well developed traits. I will continue reading and enjoying your story.

@Rio-Orengi Sorry for the extremely late reply haha.

I actually love dnd and I'll take that as a compliment because it was kind of the goal? I have the story mostly planned out, however the character reactions, responses, etc I tend to do in the moment by putting myself into their shoes as you would a dnd character. I do this because, to me, it makes them feel more alive and genuine.
