First and foremost I would like to welcome all of you bright young students to Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry! Second, remember your house may be part of who you are but you don't need to be afraid to ask me for help if you need it!

Godric, please refrain from challenging the students to duels in the corridors, it isn't appropriate (No challenging Salazar either). And I feel bad that I need to remind you of this, house pride is good, but please stop telling your students that all other houses are inferior! (Students don't read this next part, if I find out you have I will take away ten points!) It's frankly a dick move, and not kind whatsoever. (Students you can read again) Loyalty is important, Godric, but loyalty to Hogwarts as a school might be a good thing for you to start impressing upon your students!

Salazar ( @KingSalazarSlytherin ), no, you may not have another cookie. And no I will not tell you how to get into the kitchens or my common room.

Rowena ( @QueenOfSass8 ),  honestly, I have gotten twenty complaints in the last two days about your students having to answer a riddle to get into your common room! Could you maybe do a password or something instead? Or proof of homework completion? No, I won't tell you how to get into my common room, either. 

Students, homework must be completed on time and no "the giant squid ate my homework" is not a viable excuse. Dinner is at six thirty, don't be late, you wouldn't want your food to go cold!

The Hufflepuff common room is and will always be a safe space for you no matter your religon, ethnicity, race, blood status (Shut it, Salazar), gender, or sexaulity.
