I've always been a lover of books since I first learnt how to read. Made sense that I developed a love for writing them too. I joined this community because I liked the idea of making friends with fellow book lovers and meeting people who would appreciate your work. I even volunteered as an Outreach Ambassador for a while until medical school couldn't let me cope with that any longer 😕 
For me, writing is a way of escaping the problems of this world and drowning yourself in a world where you have control over what happens. It's a way of passing across messages on themes we don't get to talk about in social gatherings. Writing is my way of destressing when medical school work starts tiring me out and killing the fun in reading 💔🥰. 
I love a lot of genres, I don't have a fave! 😂😂 But, I'm trying out writing in a new genre myself. I'm working on books centred around strong, African females in futuristic Earth. They're a mix of romance, action and adventure and we don't have lots of books like that around here, so I hope they'd be ground breaking when I finally release them🤞
