@Mercy_boo With money transfer sites, the best thing is to just not say what you're paying for at all. Even if it's not adult related. One word comments if needed, but nothing else. Paypal has been stopping payments over even just *thinking* they were for anything lewd, even when they aren't - and then holding payment for 90 days or more.
            
            I'm active on Tumblr, it has its issues, but it hasn't been doing any mass purges. Ao3 is still a safe place to post. They're staunchly anti-censorship and have a legal team dedicated to defending that. New social places are popping up too, but until people are forced to move I don't see those places seeing much incoming traffic.

@Quinloki Ah yes, the increasing bans on adult material on sites that also host non-adult content, I do know about that. Forgive me, I am old and I don't easily keep up with newer terms anymore. (A while back my dad asked me what TikTok is and I couldn't answer him. ) I don't know "booktok subculture" though.  And yeah, freaking crackdowns... a couple friends who occasionally live-DJ over on Twitch got smacked for presenting a new video that oops, flashed naked bits. 
            
            And yeah FUCK all the handwringing against LGBTQ people that is desperately trying to shove us back in the closet or drive us to worse. F@CK THEM SIDEWAYS WITH A SPLINTERY TELEPHONE POLE. (I have some feelings on this. I also have loads of skin in the game. )
            
            But, so is the doing-away with DMs part of cracking down on smut/porn?? Because... *waves at all the lemons littered everywhere*  And so... is Tumblr back to being the alternative to all the mess? It seemed like it was going to crack down also, but then backed away from it?  I should take a look and see where online money transfers stand (Paypal, Venmo, etc).
            
            Bah. I have many opinions on conservative movement to "think of the children" us all into the Dark Ages, all thoroughly brocaded in curses and blasphemies, so best I quit now.

@Mercy_boo Lately a lot of platforms - for some social and conservative reasons - are adopting a "all forms of smut and porn are bad", and so sites like Wattpad, TikTok, YT, Patreon, etc are adopting really strict policies. Primary reasons include Mastercard saying even a single nipple is reason enough to decline processing a card payment.
            
            This has been largely untested because of a rise in Purity Culture - not just in Tiktok's "booktok" subculture, but in quite a few places. Conservatives are saying if you write bad things, it means you condone bad things, and younger kids are getting swayed by it.
            
            Banning all manner of smut is a first step into banning queer folk, and any other marginalized group conservatives can mark as "sexualized". Some states have already passed laws to the effect of "if you look like a man you can't dress like a woman" which are so vague and archaic they're almost useless, but the point isn't if they can be enforced, it's that they can be expanded on.
            
            It's a whole tangled mess of bad faith takes, and straight up lies, but one of the leading things protecting this new movement is Purity Culture in general and on TikTok it's just really bad.

@BONN1E_ I don't currently have any plans for a Luffy fic. I love the little guy, but I am... not good at writing him. Or at least I don't feel like I am.
            
            I do intend to include him in my Host Club AU coming this July, and I might write a route for him, even if it's just a short story comparatively. ^_^

@Demented_Delights I’ll have to try and dig it up but there’s a Firefox add on (probably a chrome one too) that lets you comment on Ao3 from anywhere on the fic. XD

            And I’m still unsure right now. I have one foot out the proverbial door, but unless they start deleting titles left and right I won’t be gone completely.

@Quinloki Losing you on Wattpad certainly makes me sad, I'll miss being able to give you a running commentary as I read your stories. But, you need to do what you need to do. I'll still see your stuff on tumblr and I'm also on AO3 (under like two different names, so I'll have to re-remember that stuff), so I'll catch you there. I'll just have to provide really detailed comments on AO3 and detailed reblogs on tumblr. 'Cause I ain't gonna stop reading or commentating. 
            
            I'll also make sure to upload my works to AO3 & tumblr so that if you don't log into Wattpad for reading, you won't miss out on anything.
