Hello, I'm a Boston based writer who aspires to write stories that inspire thought and provoke discussion about the numerous social issues of which I feel strongly about.  These issues include sexism, racism, environmentalism, LGBTQ+ issues, and social and economic inequality.   
I aspire to write stories about such issues because as one who identifies as a cis-gendered heterosexual white male, I believe it's important and even necessary for me to utilize the privileges of my identity and influence as a writer  to bring attention to the ways in  which those who share my identity and others benefit from and propagate such social issues. This is because I believe many of these social issues are the consequences  of power structures designed to keep those of my identity in power.
