Hello, my lovelies!
          
          It’s been over a year since I’ve written… truly written. Let alone published. 
          
          A friend inspired me to start again, and I am so grateful for the inspiration.
          
          I can’t wait to share this journey and chapter of my writing with all of you. ❤️

            I haven't been on Wattpad for a long time and just saw this, so my sincerest apologies! I do not publish on Neobook. I haven’t been attentive to Inkitt as much as I’d like, but Wattpad has been my platform for quite a while now. 
            
            A friend of mine inspired me to start writing again—bit by bit—and I am eternally grateful for it.

          Dearest friend,
          I’ve seen your face every morning 
          For more than a decade. 
          
          But soon,
          Soon that face will be but a memory.
          
          Gone will be the days 
          Of running in the backyard by your side. 
          
          You’ve suffered so much
          And have been through so much
          my friend.
          
          Soon you will be put to rest
          And will no longer suffer. 
          
          You will run free 
          In a field of dandelions and daisies,
          Whilst you think of me
          And I of you. 
          
          We will see each other again my friend. 
          
          Not soon, no,
          But one day. 
          
          One day I’ll see you 
          And we will be reunited 
          With new energy. 
          
          We shall frolic in the fields 
          And play in the water 
          As we once did.
