Question, fellow finalists  @amberkbryant @Krazydiamond @BrittanieCharmintine @summerstay @jakemarley @DelicateEclipse @paulapdx  @amberuni151 - so, we didn't win. (Boo!) But! We all had our work read and discussed by the showrunners and Lev Grossman. (Hooray!) Does anybody have any ideas how to translate that fact into actual feedback? I've sent a couple tweets, no response back so far. Any thoughts?

@RMHuffman - I hear you. I was just thinking the other day that feedback and/or impressions from The Magicians team would have been prize enough for me, tbh. But if you're not getting a response on Twitter, then it's unlikely we'll hear anything more from anyone on that team. 
            
            However, they don't always forget. Sometimes your work makes an impression that doesn't come to fruition until much later in the game. All you can do is keep creating and keep working to raise your profile. You'd be surprised how often people end up circling back. And props to you for trying! I wouldn't have the nerve (which is something I need to get over, at some point.) :-)

So, that was fun! Congrats to @bonniejostufflebeam on the win.
          
          No doubt Wattpad wanted suck new people in, and I'm in. Everything I'm going to put on here, including all the stories on my profile that aren't BattleTheBeast stuff, is part of a "metahumans and monsters are real" universe, but I'm trying to approach it from a grounded angle. For example: metahuman medicine is a necessary medical specialty; "superheroes" are licensed professionals, and the most famous ones are still fictional (like, name a famous doctor. Who'd you say? House? Meredith Gray? Hawkeye?); Jules Verne and Bram Stoker were journalists, and 20k Leagues and Dracula are world history.
          
          The point is, I'd love for some of you to come play in a shared universe that'll accommodate horror, paranormal, thriller, superhero, sci-fi, whatever. Let's do a common tag or something. Anybody down? Let me know!

@IBLoud Let's do it! I'll write up the worldbuilding background that I made up in my head for the stuff I've already written. This seems like the right platform to get authors to come play in a shared world.

You were most kind to make a nice reference to my BattleTheBeast short story "Third Reich Beast", about Quentin time-tripping back to Nazi Germany. Thank you, I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I'm actually revising the story to be a free-standing piece without any Syfy elements.

@KevinGebhard Glad someone was able to tag you - this Wattpad search function is unwieldy. I think reworking the piece is a great idea -should be easily done and work very well.
