Rand Zacharias started writing professionally in 2001, born in southern Manitoba, he was raised in Winnipeg, Canada—only to leave in 1983 at the age of 21. After acquiring his degree in ‘87, Zacharias began a 20-year construction career in the US and Canada.
He settled in the Okanagan Valley In August of 2001.
Zacharias teaches creative writing, along with publishing, social media and editing courses, at Okanagan College and is working on his next book.
