Forgotten Ranger

Know this...
All is not lost, be at peace...

Feel the warmth of the sun on your face.
Fell the breeze stir your hair.
See the water shimmer with the moons light.

Even on the darkest of nights, 
and the bleakest of days...
When the mournful cry of the wolf shatters a broken silence...

Listen, I tell you...
Listen to the murmur of the bubbling brook,
To the birds singing their joyful songs,

When all seems lost,
And hope abandons thought,
Seek that not of the world,
But of the spirit.

When darkness lays it's suffocating shadows upon you,
Remember He who made you...
Remember the sound of love...

The sound of trees rustling in the breeze,
laughter floating on the air.
Hear those whom you hold dear.

Smell the flowers,
These crisp fall air,
The freshness of rain,
 the pines swaying in the wind.

Cherish the touch of a friend's hand,
A sisters smile,
a brothers hug,

Be strong in life,
It takes courage,

But remember to be broken for your God, 
This is what shows real courage.
