Rain

Year 08XX
          
          The land of Alastra.
          A world where the lands between the seas that surround the continent are watched over by 5 kingdoms
          
          To the north, the Kingdom of Nevīr. 
          The harsh cold lands of the north is only for those that can brave through her raging blizzards and heartless winters.
          Lone adventures that brave through the frost will be greeted by the Dwarves that inhabit the hollow mountains that they have crafted into castles.
          
          To the south, Lies the lands ablaze, Fires of war raging across the once nourished earth. Villages scattered across this region house the kin of the Orcs. Every single day, a village gets burned to the ground by their own kin, attempting to satiate their lust for battle. Amidst these conflicts stands the great city of the Kingdom of Olstan. Though they may seem uncoordinated and mindless to the normal outsider, those that know their history will say that the Orcs can become a fearsome foe when they find an opponent that dares to disturb their land.
          

I've just finished reading "A life with Cleveland Sisters". Definitely a lot of dialogue and enjoyed the interaction between the characters. The pacing was fine but some parts are bit slower than the rest. The writing style definitely changed as I read farther to the chapters. Keep up the good work.

Long live the Queen

An alleyway in the midst of a bustling city.
          Men in black were beating up a man and trying to collect the money he owes them
          
          "Cough it up" the boss of the men in black said
          
          "I told you! I don't have the money. I can give it next week!" The man pleaded
          
          The boss snapped his fingers and his bodyguards pulled out their pistols and aimed it at the man
          
          "You know the rules. You don't pay up then you'll pay with your life. Kill him"
          
          Before they pulled the trigger
          
          An eery laugh was heard to echo around them.
          
          The Metal clangs of the platform above them were getting louder.
          
          The men looked up and saw a black figure jumping around the platforms
          
          They fired pistols upwards but it was in vain and it only lead to them being impaled by twin white swords.
          
          "What the?!" The boss began to panic and the Man that was being collected from,ran away
          
          "Hey! Come back he-?!" The boss was stopped when the figure from above had landed in front of him.
          
          What stared back at him were a pair of Silver eyes of insanity.
          
          The boss stumbled backwards as he stared at the Woman that was getting closer.
          
          The woman stared and pulled her now bloodstained swords out from the bodies that they impaled.
          
          "And you're mr Lindeman. Hahahahaha! That was easy!"
          
          "Y-you! You're that Crazy Lupo bi-" before he could finish what he was saying.
          
          She had cleanly sliced through his neck and she took his Tag.
          
          "That was easy enough. Hahahaha! Oh and btw. My name's Lappland. Oh that's right, You're already at the doorstep to hell. Probably should've asked for repentance long ago!"
