Apparently Wattpad is removing a lot of stories with little to no way of getting them back. I’m unsure if this will happen to me although I don’t think I write about anything controversial.
I don’t plan to take down my works at this time but if they disappear it definitely wasn’t me.
In the meantime, I’ll be properly backing up my stories in case I have to change platforms. I’m not sure where I would go though.

@RegularMisanthrope I know quite a few people who had their entire work deleted. Some had saved it but others did not

@ladymaryterrace I had no idea this was even happening until I saw some posts on Reddit recently. It’s really worrisome to me. I can’t describe how often I read back on comments you guys have left over the years. I would hate to lose that. Fun story: I applied for radish once but they rejected me, haha.

i hope all is going well. im new to your stories but i was wondering if there were any other platforms you write on or have moved to? SBF&L is an amazing story i would love to finish. so i guess hope all is well and an update maybe coming soon.

@AmberDeSomma Just for future reference, I understand that you are looking forward to a new update, I am too. But I find it hard to see that nagging is going to motivate the author, so please remember that the author also is a person with a life outside of writing. So I think its better if we all just tell them how much we like the story and are looking forward to more chapters when they are ready
