          This story has had such a great ride on Wattpad, and I'll be sorry to see it removed - but it's for a good reason!

WHAT'S IN STORE FOR 2024? 
          
          In terms of Wattpad, probably nothing. 
          
          That's not to say that I won't be around. I have a dozen stories I'm part way into that I wish to finish reading, and my TBR on here isn't getting any smaller. But when it comes to writing, my sights have been set elsewhere. 
          
          I took the plunge into indie publishing last year, and my future plans are currently headed in that direction. I'm actively cleaning up and redrafting IN THE DAYS BEFORE and THE ANGEL OF VENGEANCE in the hopes that I can make them good enough to release in physical and ebook format, and I'm in the beginning stages of starting other works I've been planning for years, hoping they will follow. 
          
          I don't know if those future manuscripts will make it to Wattpad. I've gained some absolutely invaluable feedback from my readers here, and I've made some amazing friends, but I never intended for this to be the final place for my stories to rest. So for 2024, I'm trying to push myself to new heights. 
          
          I'll still be around if you ever want to shoot me a message, and my socials are listed on my profile. But for now, I'm stepping back, getting back to my roots, opening up a blank canvas and getting some work done.

          I want to throw congratulations to the winners! There were so many amazing stories this year that I’m not sure how the judges managed to do their jobs! So shout out to the judges, too! 
          
          I’ve been a little quiet here lately (life, work, etc.) but I’m hard at work on things for 2024. Foremost on my mind is polishing up In the Days Before for publication, so stay tuned for that! 
          
          As for whether or not I have anything new coming to Wattpad — well, only time will tell…

today marks one month since Lost became available on Amazon. Since then I've gotten some fantastic ratings on both Amazon and Goodreads (and celebrated my first 1 star, heck yeah!) and been privileged enough to have people tell me how much they loved it. I've even had to face my fears and hear what people I know in real life had to say about it! 
          
          It's been great, and I can't wait to do it all over again when I finally get around to my next release.

It's been a crazy busy week for me at work, so I haven't had much spare time to jump on Wattpad and get more involved in what's been going on. So here's me finally taking a moment to say THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to all of you who have followed me, started reading In the Days Before, flooded me with votes, added my story to your reading lists, or left congratulations on my board. I appreciate all of this so much! 
          
          I'm looking forward to being able to jump into the Wattys shortlisted novels myself, because wow! does it look like there are some awesome reads on there!
