I love Norse mythology, a common side effect of being Danish. Other close-to-the-heart themes include doomed love, the multiverse, monsters of all stripes, graveyards and asylums, old forgotten books that unleash powerful magic with terrible consequences, impossible choices, demons with a sense of humor, insatiable hunger, redemption, and let's not forget blood-stained canine teeth.
