Hi all!

Back when my short story "The Devil's Tree" won a gold medal for #FrightFest in 2016, several of you encouraged me to make it into a novel. Well, I did it. And the novel will be released on October 15, 2019 in multiple formats (ebook, paperback, hardback, audiobook)! I hope you'll check it out: books2read.com/u/m2rXJk

Thank you again for your encouragement!

          	Best,

Well, it's been a couple years and I've been working on screenplays as well as fiction - but I have turned The Devil's Tree short story into a novel. It's currently on submission. I've also got two short supernatural/horror stories coming out in anthologies this year! : ) I'll keep you all posted.

StarlitDoom

Hi! I randomly found you and think it's so cool to find another Wattpadder who lives in Texas like me (we're like 3 hours apart XD)!

SBMcCauley

@StarlitDoom Hi. I'm not too great about getting on to Wattpad. I just don't pump stories out that quickly - but I'm going to try to hop on at least once a month. Where in Texas are you?

Hi all!

I've got three short stories posted on Wattpad now. One, "The Nest", was my first one every published . . . the rights are mine again and I'm sharing it here. I've definitely grown a lot as a writer since I wrote that one, but I think it's a fun little ghost story. I hope you'll check it out as well as "The Butcher's Boy."

Finally, if you're interested, I just did an interview with RACE THE DARKNESS author, Abbie Roads. If you have a chance to read it, please leave a comment. I'll appreciate the support. : ) http://abbieroads.com/2016/09/author-on-the-couch-susan-mccauley/

          Thanks!

IanRCooper

Hey, another story! Glad to see you're delivering the new content.

IanRCooper

@SBMcCauley Very cool. I'll be on the lookout for anything you put up here. I'd also love to see that film of "The Cask". My wife and I are huge Poe fans, and "Amontillado" is probably my favorite of his.

@IanRCooper And I'm still trying to figure out how to get more folks reading my stuff on WattPad. . . LOL. Maybe I need to spend a full day on here poking around.

@IanRCooper Hi. Thanks! I'm trying. . . struggling to finish the first draft of a new novel with another one on submission. I am going to post another short story in a couple weeks. : )
