My name is Samantha, but I like Sam better. I decided that I hated my last name more than my middle name, so I created a pen name out of it.  A few years ago, I created this account with the ambition that I'd write a few stories, but that never really happened. 

I was plagued with a lot of problems, familial as well as personal. I came out as bisexual, and unsurprisingly my parents weren't too happy. This caused a lot of problems between my parents and I (the argument that my sudden discovery of sexuality was a phase), and between my sister and I (which really was about my bravery that allowed me to admit my sexuality to my parents, when she felt she couldn't). This caused my ambition to dwindle.

Amazingly enough, I found that ambition to write again. I've always loved reading and writing, and I want to write stories that represent minorities  as well as the lgbtq+ community in a positive light.
