Starting off with the most important thing about me: I ride horses. That is how I like to define myself, as a horse rider. Cowgirl, barrel racer, rider. Any of those work for me:). I ride to release stress, to feel free and independent, to know that I am loved by my horse and needed by her, and to get that amazing adrenaline rush I get when I ride. I used to compete on my trainer's horse, Lucky, who is the tiny but mighty demon spawn that I completely adore!! :D Other than Lucky, I own a big, beautiful, sweet horse named Princess Leia that I love with all my heart and couldn't live without. I have known her for 4 years, while only owning her since this April, and will begin competing with her next year, once she is trained and patterned. She is amazing in every way and loves to run!
The second most important thing in my life is my dog, Diesel. He's coming up on 3 years old and the best thing that ever happened to me. Without him, I don't think I could have made it through the last couple of years. He's my reason to wake up every morning, go outside to breathe the fresh air, and get the exercise I need. He's a big boy, weighing in at nearly 115 lbs solid muscle, and is a German Shepherd/Black Lab mix, with maybe something else in there that we don't know about. He rescued me when we found him on the side of the road as a throw away pup two years ago. Now, he's my spoiled rotten prince, and I wouldn't have it any other way!
Third, my writing. That ranks fairly low on my list, but it helps me to get out of my own head once and a while and take on a new role, just to see what it would be like. I don't write anything for other people to read that expresses my deep emotions, because that's not why I write. My emotions get release while riding. Writing is simply for me to leave my way of life and explore a new one for my own enjoyment.
Happy reading! Bye
