@AverageAnimeH0e I read a few every now and then, and occasionally listen to them on audible but it’s not been often lately, same with fanfics. Gosh, I can’t remember the last time I read proper fanfic lmao Yeah, I steal my dads cause the prices some of these apps ask for is stupid! Plus I mostly use Netflix I like a good 1st person pov but I’m not really bothered as long as the story is descriptive and good, I like picturing everything so it plays out like a movie! And yeah they are, plus they are 100% a gateway into becoming an publishing paid author too! I can so agree with that, I’ve done that so many times and sometimes people will have you off with their descriptions, because the bio/description of the book will sound like it’s totally up your alley and the writing looks like it’ll be awesome, and then it’s just a complete flop and like someone else wrote the book to the description. I can definitely say I’ve got high standards for sure lmao
