I'm a single father, raising my daughter, and writing novels when I'm not at my day job. I've published five novels and have several others in the works.
I've been a nerd since before I knew what and nerd was. As a child, I use to steal those wooden meter markers and would sword fight the neighborhood kids. In my early teens I discover the world of Live Action Role Play and instantly fell in love. I'd found my calling and have been into heavy fantasy ever since.
In my writing career I have to luxury of traveling around the country and attending conventions as a guest. It's a surreal feeling to have people admiring the work you've done and asking for an autograph. I can openly say that I got lucky. But my career is more than luck. I work extremely hard to tailor it the way I want it. I'm not where I want to be yet, but I'm making strides every day. Every soon I hope to be making enough money from my books to write full time so I can spend what's left of my daughter's childhood with her instead of having to juggle all of other responsibilities on top of my career.
