Samuel Barrera

Born in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico, Samuel R. Barrera was the first person in his immediate family to learn to speak English. He had to read and write proficiently to help his family in their day-to-day lives as early as age 8. Today, Samuel is a screenwriter and published comic book writer. He has collaborated with Ernie Reyes, Jr. (TMNT 2, The Rundown) on the comic book Sonny Dragon and the upcoming horror feature film, Master Slasher.
