I love the simple pleasures of a steaming mug of tea or a hot cup of coffee or chocolate paired with a good book. That first sip feeling of a cold beer on a hot day. The smell of petrichor after a long dry spell. A long drive on a windy road, windows down, music loud. The way the sunlight filters through the canopy of green leaves on the trees that line the roadway and how the morning sun looks climbing over the mountains, it's rays causing the dew on the green fields to glisten like crystals in the early morning light. Oven fresh bread covered in butter and dipped in oil. The taste of sweet wine lingering on his soft lips. Simple Pleasures.
As a child I saw Tarzan almost naked, Cinderella arrived home after midnight, Pinocchio told lies, Aladdin was a thief and Batman drove over 200 miles per hour. Snow White lived in a house with seven men, Popeye smoked a pipe and had tattoos, PAC MAN ran around to digital music while eating pills that enhanced his performance and Shaggy and Scooby were mystery solving hippies who always had the munchies... the fault is not mine!
