Ok, people, I got a little bit of a puzzle. My friend is in need of a little mini-vacation by herself, but her husband is a little overbearing and somewhat controlling. She wants to take a trip out of town for a few days, but she needs a better reason than “I want to go visit a friend/family member by myself.” I thought about telling him she was going to one of those one-night-only benefit concerts, but apparently he would still want to go. I’m out of ideas, so can anyone think of anything else?
