I am a Finn but this account is for publishing some of my stories in English. Most of my stories, I've been writing in parallel in Finnish and English. If you're interested in the Finnish versions, contact me.

Writing has been one of my passions since childhood: non-fiction, fiction, prose, poetry. I have published a few books (non-fiction, politics and history) and quite a few articles, but what I write here is original and previously unpublished.

The stories you find here will concentrate in two genres: 

The mystery stories (detective/espionage) take place in the contemporary world and though the stories and their characters are mainly fictional, they rely on the world and places as we know them. The regular main character of these stories, Henrik Hallan, is a former civil servant who left government service for being a private consultant. He usually ends up consulting people who suffered injustice, or are up against seemingly overwhelming enemies.

The fantasy / sci-fi stories use the opportunity of creating entirely fictional worlds. The one that I will test this platform for is a trilogy named The Time of the Titans, which is based on a story, a world, and characters I created as a teenager, but failed to finish it. It starts in the spirit of science-fiction but soon moves on to a 'future past' and the genre of fantasy adventure. I wrote it with active participation from a bunch of readers who were still teenagers at the time, and the result was something far deeper and far more extensive than any of us anticipated.

I wish to convey my gratitude for my Polish friend M. Z. for bringing me to this platform and therefore for giving a new life to these stories. I hope they will continue to evolve here.
