Tony is a freelance writer and editor based out of Toronto, Canada. After writing for newspapers and magazines, Tony wrote for film and television where he was recognized with a Leo Award nomination for Best Screenwriting in an Animated Series for his work on the APTN animated series Animism: The Gods Lake. Upon graduating from the Canadian Film Centre's Professional Screenwriting Program, Tony was hired to adapt the  best-selling non-fiction book Blue Trust into a feature film script. Around the same time, Tony wrote for the CTV comedy series Robson Arms. Tony's first novel, The New Twenty was recognized with a Watty Award in 2017. He  recently launched weekly blog on the creative writing process called "Observations From a Creative Life".
