I’m actively working on a new chapter of You Don’t Belong Here, so please bear with me just a tad longer. We’ve had back-to-back family complications (I don’t want to say tragedies because that feels like overkill) ever since the tornado came through, the most recent of which being a death in the family. I just started a new job as well, so that’s been an adjustment as far as working out a schedule when it comes to free time since it’s much longer hours and harder work than what I’m used to, and the kids start back to school this week so you can imagine how chaotic and unhinged everything is right now. Moral of the story, the new chapter will be out in two days, if not by tomorrow.

Sorry to hear of all your misfortunes happenings over quite some time. I just came across your story ‘End Days’ and it caught my eye. If you ever get the time, inspiration and motivation to finish your story, I’m so eager to read it. It would appear to be a very unique storyline (as I noticed your other works are too). You must have an amazingly creative imagination and then to be able to creat that with word for others to read is a real gift in story telling. But your synopsis also show you have talent and skill, especially to be able to engage a reader just from that snippet and have them eager to immerse themselves in the worlds you’ve created and the characters in it. It may take time and finding the right inspiration to get your spark back, but I really hope you do (some of us rely on excellent writers like yourself to be able to escape reality for a while even for out own mental health - cos we suck at daydreaming!!). I personally use it as a form of therapy to distract me from chronic conditions including pain so what you do is actually a vital part of my lifestyle management. Authors don’t get as much appropriation as they should. So thank you for all you’ve shared so far, and I hope one day it will once again bring you enjoyment and a form of artistic outlet that brings you happiness. Best wishes.

Finally updated You Don’t Belong Here, and it’s taken way longer than I anticipated. Between dealing with PPD, stress with family, and numerous constant work problems and stresses, it’s taken everything in me just to be able to function through the day. I’ve had the urge to write, but when I sit down and try, my brain just gives out and I lose all motivation which puts me in a deeper funk.

This chapter wasn’t much, and for that I apologize, but I’ve already started on the next and hopefully it will be better. At this point I’m just trying to get SOMETHING accomplished as far as writing goes.

Thank you for your patience, and I hope you enjoy it at least a little.

Please send prayers and good vibes our way. At the emergency room with the 3 month old. Heart rate is high while resting (230), respiration rate is high, and fever keeps climbing even after Tylenol. Urgent care sent us to ER. Initial covid test (at urgent care) was negative. They’re redoing the covid test but also testing for flu and RSV. Lil dude is feeling so bad he won’t even eat, and that’s saying something for this little chunk.

Hi and thanks SereneArchangel for including I'm a Cyborg's Pet to that cool reading list. Reading that I suppose that sounds odd, thanking for you such a small act, but as new authors such as, I don't know, us continue to get a real buzz each and every time someone discovers our work Please enjoy the book. Thanks for making our day as writers!

your well earned warm embrace is on it's way. RK+Reb

If y’all could send good vibes to Oklahoma, tornado season is starting up. The same small town has gotten hit twice in one week. There was a very close call by my house. The town I work in got hit. We went to my in-laws house because we don’t have a shelter, and now we can’t get back home because the streets are flooded so bad.

Sending some your way! <3

So I had this elaborate plan of how I was going to take advantage of maternity leave and release several chapters of different stories, but I underestimated just how challenging this transition would be. Between cluster feeding, adding a third child into the mix, so doctor appointments for me and the baby, regular and frequent chiropractor appointments to help get my spine, hips, and pelvis realigned (they were horribly out of place), and still going into work during the week…I haven’t worked out a “schedule” like I’d hoped I would have by now. But I am working on a few chapters when I can and I will be releasing within the next 2-3 days.

I’m sure everyone understands. Life gets in the way and things rarely go according to plan. Don’t stress yourself too much. You’re supposed to enjoy writing not feel like it’s an extra chore. Congratulations on the baby by the way.

Trying really hard to get out new chapters, but pregnancy brain, complications/physical restrictions, and constant exhaustion are not helping with the struggle. Please, bear with me and I’ll get new chapters out as soon as I can. Thanks everyone.

Take all the time you need, dear! Pace yourself and I’m positive the wait is going to be worth it.
