Gosh diddly darn I gotta WRITE MORE

ShadedOrchid

Hey guys, I realize that I haven't been updating anything...at all. The thing is, I just started high school last Wednesday, and I'm a freshman. I have three out of four honors classes (Language Arts, Algrebra, and History) so I'm pretty packed with my schedule. I currently have a summer project for L.A. that I have to rush on, since I was taking care of my injured mom during summer, when I was supposed to do it along with two book reports that I finished on time, thank God. I've been super tired with being prepared and such. I even have an upcoming History quiz next Friday.

I also wanted to touch on my progress with Ophidian. As you saw from the Prologue and Chapter 1, I write very long chapters that are filled with information that could be in an actual book. My L.A. teacher, when reading my book reports, commented that she has high expectations, is excited to view my upcoming writings for school, and expects only good things from me. I take writing seriously. The problem with Ophidian is that I lounge after I do my homework, and I work on it late at night. I need to stop doing this, so I'm going to try and put it in my schedule. Writing is my main craft that I want to perfect, and visual art comes second. A thought just popped into my head when I wrote this: I should write a biography.

I know that you guys don't talk to me or post on my message board, and I don't even know if you're reading this, but please do. I really want to make new friends who share my passion, or have other interests that we have in common. Just send me a quick message, comment on my stories, anything. Don't be shy! Even constructive criticism is welcomed, if handled nicely.

That's about it. I have a gazillion ideas in my head right now, specifically about a secret project I want to work on. It's gonna be great, trust me.

Remember, if you don't feel comfortable talking to me on Wattpad, feel free to send something via Instagram (@shaded.orchid) or Tumblr (@shaded-writer).
