Most of my stories are based off dreams I have during my sleep or something I thought of off the fly. The characters are based off the same way. People I know in the real world or people I dream up. I will be making fantasy's, and it will be usually paired with another genre like Romance, Action/Adventure, and for extra spice, a mystery genre.
