After this post, I will no longer be posting new content on Wattpad, but I will leave everything up and check in periodically (perhaps every few months). Thank you to everyone who has read my work and who continues to read it in the future. I have published a lot of work professionally now. Perhaps you will be reading it and not even know it's me.
          
          The only things I want to say is to that person. I still think of you and miss you. It was the worst time in my life but I know that I neglected you even so. I hope you have achieved everything you dreamed back then. For the pain my neglect caused you, I'm sorry. Though I have my own feelings about what happened, I think of you as the one who got away.

New chapter of [L.] up. "Lover's Words". Laurent reflects upon old lovers, following the loss of his last great love, and returns to wondering what it all means if all love whispers are false, and what it would be to have a kind of silence. 
          
          I recognize that in this time in history, the chapter may seem somewhat topical, and I regret that. I wrote that part of this chapter, no joke, over a year ago. In fact all of it was written over a year ago, and a lot of the details that may seem to come from life in fact came from plague research of 1300s Northern France. I wasn't satisfied with the writing at the time. I think it's cleaner now, with a year more of experience, but still sort of chunky.
