I read your hannibal fanfic and idk if what you were doing were oneshots since i didn't see anything that said oneshots but i think if you want to better the fanfic at least in my opinion since I don't really like oneshots you could more scenes like where the characters meet and stuff like that so basically plot. If what you're doing is oneshots then the fanfic is fine as it is
