If you want to know the perfect example of who my aunt (yes, the abusive one) acts like, it would be Sugar Plum from "The Nutcracker and the Four Realms". In that movie, Clara (who's like me in this case), thought that Sugar Plum was pretty much the sweetest person she'd ever met, and then this deceptively sweet fairy turned out to be a villain. Other Mother from Coraline is also a lot like my aunt. Seeing any patterns here? In both movies, these villains befriended a lonely kid who trusted them and was eventually betrayed.

I keep telling myself that I'm not responsible for my aunt's wrongdoings and that I had no way of knowing that the niceness was just a mask that she wore. But I still sometimes beat myself up for not seeing it sooner. I mean, everyone else thought she was nice too, but no one liked her quite as much as I did, not even my mom who is literally her sister. I knew her when I was little, and she always seemed so sweet! I spent my whole childhood thinking that she was some sort of fairy princess that rode a unicorn. It was shocking and hurtful to everyone when they found out she was actually a manipulative fiend, but for me? I found out my favorite person (more or less. I REALLY liked her!) was not only mean and manipulative, but an abusive parent to boot!

I've had dreams about helping my cousin escape for 2 nights in a row now. In the first one, I got to hug her, and you know what? I'm glad I got to, even if it was just in a dream. While I was hugging her in the dream I said "Don't worry. I'm going to help you get away." Gosh, I'm on the verge of tears now just remembering!

Why is it so hard? *wails* :'(

@Kea_Starfire astute observation! ;) Others have said so before, too. (Except, Tangled is a kid's movie, so they couldn't have her calling Rapunzel obsecenities T-T)

@ShireStrawberry144 Sometimes dreams can be a sign or a vision from God so if it's two nights in a row that's probably what it is. Your cousins are going to be okay, I promise

Dinnertime conversation last night:
          Mom:(to me) You look happy.
Sister: She's probably thinking about hobbits again.
Mom: Are you in love with hobbits?
Dad: *chants in high pitched voice* HOBBITS PUGS HOBBITS PUGS HOBBITS PUGS
          Me: *wants to disappear*

It reminded me an awful lot of a few weeks ago when my mom was making out that all I thought about was rainbows, glitter, and stickers and the same sister as above said "Hobbits. Hobbits, hobbits hobbits. Just say hobbits about a thousand more times."

It's like they think I'm obsessed or something! I bet they think that hobbits are my favorite thing to draw. I bet they even think that I want to someday have pet pugs named Frodo, Sam, Merry, and Pippin. (Haha, I bet they think that because I DO, and I TOLD them that!)

@ShireStrawberry144 From what I gather, I guess you draw hobbits a lot. Well, I’m glad that you are a fan of LOTR ❤️

On Saturday, my dad came home from the grocery store with red potatoes, yellow potatoes, hash browns, instant mashed potatoes (as in the flakes), and crinkle-cut fries. I said "Wow, looks like someone really likes potatoes!" What I was REALLY thinking: "PO-TAY-TOES"

@ShireStrawberry144 PO-TAY-TOES!! LOTR The Two Towers right?
