If the trailer and marketing campaign had been polished to the right level, the film could have been a global success. Unfortunately, the reality is that Paramount has no real interest in making a sequel, so the poor viewing figures fit their convenient excuse perfectly.
It must be said outright – Transformers One is absolutely the best film ever made in this universe. The characters have been created with extraordinary care and clearly have a lot more to show. The plot skillfully intertwines with events from the future and the past, showing the beginnings of the conflict that defined the entire history of Cybertron. And the friendship between Orion Pax and D-16? It's pure art – moving, complex and full of emotions. AND ORION PAX.
This is our moment. Transformers fans need to stand up, come out of the shadows and show loudly that we are still here! We will not allow our beloved universe to be ignored and robbed of its potential. It is time for our voices to be heard!
