Well I'm an atheist. I don't believe in an omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient imaginary figure without a good evidence for its existence nor will I believe in a book that claims to have been written by supposedly the most powerful and intelligent being in the entire universe.(Don't you guys find it strange that the most powerful and intelligent being in the entire universe chose to communicate to us with one book in a million other books?)
Humanity is the creator of the gods. Humanity created the concept of god because there were times when humans felt scared and alone, there were times when humans grieved, there were times when humans felt awe and wonder yet didn't have the answers they so desperately wanted, but most of all, there were times when they wanted to control other people and in all these things, the creation of the god proved to be the most useful tool. Gods may have been a necessary evil but humanity is growing up, and the time has come to put away childish things and to put an end to the world's greatest myth ever.
