LAWRENCE TURNER

I was an expat Canadian living for 15 years in England, the country where I was born. I lived on a narrowboat on the canals of England before moving back to Canada in 2020, the year of the pandemic. My two passions are writing and music. I don't have a website because I don't want one. I have been writing since I was a boy and I taught music when I first returned to England. Before that I was a preacher in Canada, but I no longer hold the beliefs that kept me in that vocation. I love and play Blues music and folk/rock. I am a singer/songwriter of sorts. Mostly, I enjoy playing covers on my guitar. I have three grown children from a previous marriage. One currently lives in Indonesia. Another is an entrepreneur in Toronto, Canada. The third, my eldest, is a touring musician, writer and activist who also writes her own music. I am proud of all of them.
