Please read my new story, I actually think its the best thing I've written here. Heres the prolouge He forced himself to open his eyes, to see what had become of himself, and his home, and yet only one of his pale blue eyes flickered open. The other burned with an intense pain, and he wondered, through the agony, what had happened to it. The stench of death was heavy in the air, a thick, choking miasma that seemed to seep through his very bones, and the sight that met his remaining eye was a nightmare brought to life. The ruins of his home, and his life stretched out before him.
          
           He was not surprised the men had not bothered to finish him off, he could see the splatters of blood all over him. 
          With disgust, he remembered taking someone else's dead body and covering himself in their blood. He looked like another corpse. His eyes fixated on a mangled dead body of his older sister, who lay so close to him. No doubt the rest of his family's destroyed corpses were nearby. He swallowed the bile that rose in his throat.  But he would not mourn or grieve now, or ever. He would not weep or cry. Tears would not fix this. Darian Ravenwood stood,breathing heavily,  his body screaming in protest, and as he truly took in the destruction and carnage around him, a cold fury set over him. It burned away the pain, and the shock, and left only a hard, unbreakable resolve. He would not die here. He had to live, or all would be lost. As he stared at the ruined face of his dead sister, as he thought of the lives that had been lost, he made a promise. He would find them. The ones who had done this. And he would make them suffer.
          
          Someone would pay for this.
