Steven Universe Theory:
!!!SPOILERS AHEAD!!!
I believe that Pink's eye was the result of shattering.
Now, hear me out! We can see throughout the series that Steven's powers have been used on both Gems and Humans, but only one power hasn't: restoring dead life. We saw Steven revive Lars after he died, so I believe this is what happened to Pink Pearl.
Hear me out: As Rebecca states that Gems ARE technology. Imagine, for example, a person inexperienced with computers takes one apart. Then, they put it back together again. Sure, it might still be a computer, but will it work the same way again? Maybe it does. Maybe... it has a few glitches.
This is what I believe happened to Pink Pearl. Something happened that caused her to be shattered, and Pink revived her by using her powers on the shards. But the pieces couldn't be fit in the same way again, and the resulting manifestation of light was permanently altered: the scar that is Pink Pearl's missing eye.
Maybe whatever caused Pink Pearl to shatter was why she was taken from Pink. Something PD did that was so irresponsible that White saw it necessary to replace Pink Pearl with our Pearl; a Pearl that was well behaved and new how to stay out of trouble; someone who could keep PD in line.
This is just a theory and I have talked about this topic before, but, given what we know in the show, I feel like this is a very likely outcome as to why Pink Pearl is missing an eye. My thoughts are a little more organized, and Steven Universe: Future just got a new trailer, so I'm really excited to be getting back into the swing of things!

I am rewriting "Chased," but it will be in the same book as the original, it will just be labeled new. They will be side by side their corresponding chapters, and any extra events will likely have their own chapter in between.
I am postponing posting my newer AC3 fan fic "To You, My Son."
I will continue writing for "Repeat," but my main AC3 focus will be rewriting "Chased."
I am continuing to write my Hetalia fan fic "Darker Side of Light," and I will repost my older Hetalia fan fic "Leave Me Be."
"The Cop, the Conduit, and the Convict" will be updated shortly, and it will be taken off of hiatus.
I will update my one-shot books as I can.

Steven Universe Theory
SPOILER WARNING!
What if Pink Diamond can resurrect the broken shards of gems? Steven used this ability on Lars when he died, and all of Steven's abilities were used on both human and gems (fusion, entering minds, etc). I wonder if the ability to reincarnate was passed through Pink's gemstone? If Pink did have this ability, then that might explain Pink Pearl. The healing process may leave scars.
This would have to mean Pink Pearl would have been shattered, and, whether purposely or on accident, Pink healed the shattered gemstone. But, when Pink Pearl reformed, she had a permanent scar on her face from the damage of the gemstone. If you're still on the idea that "the gem is a projection of light and damage to the gemstone wouldn't affect it", then you're wrong - and that's not just my opinion. In the episode "An Indirect Kiss," Amythest cracks her gemstone, and it physically affecta the way her gem projected the light.
Imagine a computer. If you smash it with a hammer, it will not function correctly. If you take it apart and put it back together again, you are bound to make errors. This is what I think happened to Pink Pearl. She was taken apart - shattered - then put back together again - healed by Pink. However, in the process, the gem couldn't lock completely back into place, and, like a computer, left a scar on Pink Pearl's physical projection.
But, now that I'm thinking about it a bit more, I remember Lars only had the scarring on his eye because he was previously hit there... I don't know. Maybe it's because his body isn't made of Light, and his body is HIS BODY. He's human, his body is organic, and not composed of light with mass.
If you are on the idea that it was White Diamond, then, once again, you are wrong.
In the recent special "Change Your Mind" (spoilers for those who haven't watched it yet), the fandom is confirmed of White's mind control powers (or, in this case, gem control), and she controls over all of the gems with Steven. When they are lifted from the control, there is no physical damage left on any of the other gems. The damage to Pink Pearl had to have occurred before she was taken by White Diamond.
If you still aren't convinced, then I don't really care. I'm tired, and I haven't reallt thought this through. It was just a random thought I had while scrolling through social media, and then I decided to post it here.

Hello Wattpad Land!
I have recently posted two new fan fictions!
The first one is 'Darker Side of Light', an Hetalia fan fiction featuring the OC of Elizabeth Anne. Who is Elizabeth Anne, you might ask? Is she human? Is she a representation? Is she a state? City? Province? Capital?! A whole country? Read to find out!
The second one is another AC3 fanfic, titled "To You, My Son..." It was requested by a fan on one of my other AC3 fan fics!
I have a few more in the works, and, yes, I am overwhelming myself with all of these fan fictions. I am putting these few on hold until I can juggle all of my tasks:
- InFAMOUS One-Shots (I'm still working a request for now, so you guys don't be in the dark for long)
- A Cop, a Conduit, and a Convict (again, another chapter is on its way shortly)
- Gravity Falls One-Shots (I need time to work on those projects, so they'll be a while)
- Repeat (Sadly, yes, I'm pausing Repeat after so long - although another chapter is in the works)
For the time being, my focus will be on these two new fan fictions I posted, and a few more are in the works, so keep an eye out for that!

Hello Wattpad Land!
I am in the process of making an Assassin's Creed book for the request of another viewer. I am unsure whether to make this a whole book or just a few chapters. I guess time will tell.
As for my one-shot books, I am working on a few bigger projects, so it'll be worth the wait. A few of them are already over 4,000 words.
In the meantime, I'll be posting shorts and on my other book series.
I am currently in the process of creating two new fan fictions, one for Hetalia and the other for Fallout 4. Yes, very very different genres.
The Hetalia Fan Fiction currently has a prologue and a first chapter done, so be prepared to see it.
As for the Fallout 4 Fan Fiction, everything is really scattered, and I'll need time to organize everything.
As well as these fan fictions, I am also in the works of a YouTuber fan fiction. If anyone can guess who, then kudos to you! I might just follow!
I will keep all of you posted on the state of these works.
