Backlash Part 2 has a new chapter up at last. Sorry for the wait. I'm going to start out trying to update once a week and see how that goes for getting back into things.

Quick update. I am not dead and neither is Backlash. My computer however is having some serious problems and I cannot write full chapters on my phone. I am hoping to get my computer fixed soon and return to posting.
@NebulusCharlie I did have surgery around the beginning of June. The surgery went great. The recovery was annoying and kind of exhausting. But I have been cleared for normal activity again.

It has been a hectic few months. My father passed in March which destroyed my ability to focus. I will be having surgery this next week, so I have also been spending a lot of time trying to get thing ready to make my recovery as easy as possible. Not sure what updates will look like immediately following surgery, but I am hoping to get back to twice a week updates by the end of July.
My deepest condolences on your loss. I will be praying that your surgery goes through without any complications and that you recover fully.

Updates might become unpredictable for a while. My father is in the hospital, and they do not expect him to recover. I have no idea how this is going to impact me. So I am attempting to be gentle with myself regarding my goals and obligations. I will write when I can and do my best to continue to post updates regularly.

I won't be able to post an update for Backlash Part 2 today. Today has turned out to be much busier than I expected and this next chapter is going to be a challenging one to write. I could try to force something out today, but I don't want to compromise the quality of the story. Chapter 220 will be up next Tuesday, by 11pm Pacific Time. Sorry about the delay.
