Is the new 'Mute' going to have the same plot as the old one?

is there going to be like a part 2 book for muted like when they meet again after he gets out of the mental place?

To everyone who has been reading Muted, I’m trying my best to get the next chapter up. It’s gonna be a while because I’m trying to make it a long chapter but it’s become increasingly difficult during this pandemic, especially while being an essential worker. Hey guys I want to apologize because Wattpad seems to be glitching for me? R6S for some reason in my drafts has 2 chapter 8’s, and I only typed one page of chapter 8, and it keeps deleting chapter 8: part 2 for me, so my next chapter might be late!!
