So, I used to be an avid Percy Jackson fan-fiction reader. But as time went on, I grew appalled at the continuous cliche. Of course, I had already known that most people on this app were too unoriginal to make something new, that was evident from the very beginning. But I began to realize that Percy (the main character) is often portrayed as a perfect, angelic, muscular, humble, tanned, polite figure. None of this was ever said in the books. Sure, in MOA when Percy and Annabeth reunite, she is surprised at Percy's growth both characteristically and physically (winky winky). And it is often mentioned that Percy is open to new people (yet somewhat timid). Plus, he displays several acts of humility and selflessness. But people take this notion and divert the characters seaweed brain personality into a perfect character. This app has now become overrun with people who put no effort and copy the perfect percy from whichever bitch who made it. The once appealing story is immediately turned into a boring story, due to a considerable lack of utilization once this Perfect Percy is introduced, and I'm sure even Rick wouldn't approve. So I know that this is Wattpad and people can do whatever they like, but I thought Wattpad was supposed to be creative, and kind of an add-on to the original story. This is completely transforming a flawed, shy yet proud, funny yet dull, inspiring yet laughable character into a piece of perfection. And this is, in my humble opinion, BORING AS FUCK.

Ergo, I will be taking a very long break from this app, not only for the problematic reason ranted thus far, but for the sake of eradicating whatever habits I might have made in the process of becoming addicted to Wattpad (I assure you, all are negative, and if you find yourself reading Wattpad excessively, you might need to take a break as well). However much to the dismay of my enemies, I will continue checking my notifications and challenging all who get in my way. And that's the character limit.
