Although a Christian author, I think what I have to say is applicable to many people. I know what life is like. I've been there. If you cannot handle graphic descriptions of self-harm, though, please do not read any of my memoirs.

+ Random short stories, typically historical fiction. 
I used to write action/adventure, but my life has had enough of that. 
At the time I last edited this (2017), I was:
+ Aged 20
+ In college
+ Working a job I really dislike
+ Worth close to $100 in hard cash
+ A 10-year volunteer at an animal sanctuary

I'm not very social, but I do like to open up in writing. I hope you can gain more than just something from what I write.
