Hi there! I'm Starry, a writer - who in 2012 - wrote fanfiction as a wide-eyed and plucky 13-year-old. I'm 22 now, and I recently came across an old story in the notes of an old iPod touch (yes, an iPod touch.) Since I have some free time, what with quarantine, unemployment, and graduating, I have decided to edit, rewrite, and finish the story I started 8 years ago.

I'm graduating from college this spring with a degree in English for creative writing. (Spoiler; I graduated in May! Horray! Now I have a piece of paper to keep me warm at night. I just accepted my offer for my MFA program as well, so I'll be going back to school in the Fall for my Masters.)

I want to pay homage to the young girl who found her passion in writing but was too scared to put her work out there, and to the young girl who finally did but deleted whatever she posted. I want to show them both that they eventually grew into someone who dove into their passion, studied it, and intended to make a career out of the thing they enjoyed most; writing.

This is a simple wish to see how far I have come as a writer and to finally finish a story I've been holding out on for 8 years. I don't know if I'll write more here than this, but life is full of surprises. Anyway, I hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoyed bringing this story back to life.
