@ShellBooks I'm a very spiritual person and quite intuitive at times so the short story I'm hoping to knock out of the park will be about a young girl who learns from a doctor that she can't dance anymore right before she planned to audition for Juilliard and also not long after Michael passed so she's still grieving over him. Her father transformed their basement into a mini dance studio with the proper floor and mirrors covering the walls. She's going to go down there and ask to be left alone, she'll end up falling asleep, something wakes her up, and when she looks up, Michael is walking towards her. It's going to be a tear jerking conversation, Michael giving her those words of wisdom and love that always flowed from his lips. She stands and he pulls her close to start slow dancing with her, and starts softly singing "Smile" to her. When he stops, she knows it's a dream so she kisses him out of love, admiration, respect, grief, so many emotions. Right after their lips part, her father calls down to her asking if she's alright which makes her head turn to look at the stairs. She says she's fine, he closes the door, but when she looks back, Michael is gone. She realizes...she wasn't dreaming...he had been there. She looks in the mirror and stares at her reflection before doing the one thing she promised Michael she would do but thought with such horrible news that she would never do again...she smiles. I've had straight A's through my Bachelor's degree andc so far through my Master's so I'm looking forward to writing this and hopefully making it as powerful as I envision it

@ShellBooks I'm sorry hun, I hope you feel better soon! My daughter is 4 and goes to preschool so when she catches something from one of the other kids, it comes home and next thing we know it, we're all sick. I always figure that we might as well all get sick and get it over with lol And I didn't get to do homework like I wanted to yesterday but today will be homework time later on. I'm looking forward to it, I'll be writing a short story for my Graduates Studying the Craft class about Michael. I'm a dancer and I am the dancer I am all because of him but unfortunately because of my neck and back issues that have developed because of dance, I can't perform the way I used to. Thriller was our big performance that we always used to do and now, between my neck, back, and vertigo that throws me off balance, I feel like I'm losing Michael by losing dance.

@ShellBooks You're very welcome :-) I can't wait to read the rest of your book when you put it up. I'm eager to know how things will turn out, and I'm quite the sucker for a happy ending. A few days ago, I got my first tattoo for Michael. It's the ending of "Will You Be There" when he speaks. My next tattoo I'm saving for is Michael's portrait, name, birthday, and the date he left us. I can't wait to get that done. Today's definitely been a day of running around doing errands. How has your day been darlin?
