i just thought of this.
            what if jeremiah and ecco had a small shrine of the main character when they start their cult?

after the main character dies, Ecco should lose a bit of her sanity and become a workaholic. 
            make sure to add a lot of fluff but a lot of angst at the end. but don't forget it's the 80s and they're gay. it'll entail hardships for both of them. they would really want to show affection to one another in public but they can't. it's those small things that can create big problems and stress.
