First, thanks for stopping by!

About me: I started to love math in the first grade (writing out numbers one after the other as fast as I could count during math time in class). I started to love reading in the second grade (in the reading corner of class, where I would sit with books that I'm pretty sure were often about a mouse detective). I started to love writing in the sixth grade (inspired by a short story project which eventually revolved around a group of friends stumbling into a house that was beyond their wildest dreams). Math held on until the twelfth grade when it didn't have the strength to hang on any longer (calculus pried it's last fingers off of the impending precipice), but my love for reading and writing remained, even growing.

I have written on and off since the sixth grade. I have long enjoyed reading my writing to others and love to share a new story idea or even a newly minted pleasant sentence. After watching my wife read what must be one thousand books on Wattpad, I thought it would be a great place to share stories with those who clearly love to read and write stories.

About my writing: Though I have written many things over the years, most of those things, as I would imagine is true of most writers, are lost to time, never to be found. Just as well, I would add. For now, I have completed one novel that is not lost to time (yet). It is a historical fiction novel. I love history, especially for the weight it can bring in novels to questions surrounding ideas such as reality, ethics, human relations, and truth.

Although I love historical fiction, I also look forward to branching off into other genres and styles of writing. I have many ideas that excite me and I hope to pursue at least some of them some day.
