Hey there, everybody. It's been a while since I've been able to drop by. Thankfully I'm settling in to my new job, and finished edits on Book 2 in my series--Child of Destiny--which is due to release in April. Hooray! In the meantime, I thought I'd see if I could muster enough energy to also give a go at this year's Open Novella Contest. Although I had a heck of a time picking which prompt to use as inspiration. I finally went with prompt 56, and managed to JUST squeak by the deadline today by reaching a word count of 2,006. So, fingers crossed, and at the very least hopefully it'll be a good new story. The idea definitely has me intrigued. Links to the story and the ONC site are below. If you haven't already, get those entries in!

After too long of an interim, Zero Day has a new chapter posted. If you haven't taken a peek at it yet, this is a post-apocalyptic / dystopian story about a group of teens trying to survive after nearly everyone else died ... and then got back up again. The breathers aren't quite alive. They're not quiet dead either, but they are deadly. Staying ahead of them is a matter of survival and a battle not everyone will win.
