Rewrite of Defying Fate is now up to seven chapters fully rewritten. Honestly, very little is staying the same other than the characters themselves. Please check out the new version and let me know what you think!

@TabithaLeRaye I never read the unedited version, but this version rocks. I love it. Can't wait to read the rest. I've added it to my Library and my Favorite list. Please update soon.

@TabithaLeRaye I did not read the original Defying Fate, but read the 9 chapters you have on your revised version. Currently reading Fighting Fate when I decided to drop in your profile page. Your revised edition rocks, I can already see the differences between the revised and your sequel. I like the way you set it up better than how you had it originally. Loving the read

Hey. I never got to read Defying Fate. I know you are in the process of rewriting it but the rewrite doesn't give a feel of what has happened to lead up to Fighting Fate. Do you still have the original copy for Defying Fate and if so, can I read it? I'm reading Fighting Fate but it leaves so much unknown if you haven't read the Defying Fate book first.

This is a post for all of my fans of the Defying Fate trilogy. As you all know, Defying Fate and Fighting Fate have been completed for several years. I began Defying Fate about a decade ago, and I finished Fighting Fate about two and a half years ago. It has always been my intention to rewrite these stories and self-publish them to Amazon, along with the third book in the series, Betraying Fate.
I have begun my rewrite of Defying Fate, and a great deal has changed. So much so that, after rereading what I originally wrote as a teenager, I decided to unpublish the original version. Truthfully, I read it now and I'm a bit embarrassed because I feel like the writing is so poor.
With that being said, I have decided to replace the original chapters with the new ones as I write them. I would encourage any of you who liked it the first time to come back and see all that has changed, and I'm hopeful that even with a free version of the books here some of you will ultimately decide to buy the final, self-published versions as well.
Thanks for reading and please feel free to leave me any questions you may have!

I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your kind words and your support! I have gone back and added two additional chapters to Destined leading up to the Epilogue, and I hope they will provide you all with the resolution you deserve. Please take a moment to go back and read them and let me know what you think!

Thank you for your honesty. I completely understand as a writer how we can sometimes feel we cant give the story more then we already have. I struggle with this myself. It is very difficult to take the story from concept to totally writing to the complete finish. Take the time you need if readers truly want to know how things have turned out they will wait for the next chapters. I myself will be eagerly waiting to see where this goes.

Hello, everyone!

As many of you know, I recently posted an epilogue for Destined and marked the story as complete. I have since received a number of comments regarding the ending of the story, particularly ones stating that the ending seemed a bit rushed or that it seemed to be missing some chapters.
I want all of you to know that I am incredibly grateful to you for reading and commenting, and for giving honest feedback. I have tried to always be very upfront and honest with you all about things, and I feel like I owe it to those of you who have stuck by me for so long to address this.
Honestly, as terrible as it sounds, I got tired. I know as an author, I'm not supposed to say that. But it's true. I started writing Destined going on two and a half years ago. I have walked away from it and come back to it many times over. I will be the first to admit that I often struggle with having the patience to take a story from the idea stage to that last chapter. Frankly, I sometimes lose the drive to write once a story comes to a certain point. This has been the case with Destined.
I love the story, and I stand behind it, truly. But honestly, I got a bit burnt out on it and lost my excitement, and I feel like that showed. I have dozens of other ideas and projects that have been clawing at me for these past couple years, and I was getting impatient to move on to something new.
Because of this, I feel I have done a disservice to those of you who have loved reading Destined and who deserved a more solid ending than the rushed one I gave you.
That is why I will be unpublishing the epilogue that was previously published and writing the additional chapters in between. The chapters that you all clearly still want, and most certainly deserve. I cannot promise that these chapters will be published immediately, but I hope you'll wait patiently for them and read them once they're done. Thank you all for your endless support.

Thank you for your honesty and transparency. I think how you finished the story was good it allows you to come back to it in the future if not at least your readers were able to get the closure the story needed. Thank you!!!
